Hey family, this week was a pretty good one. It was our last week for all three us to all be together serving. Elder Eskelsen is going to Garner I'll be staying in Cary and I'll be finishing up training Elder Nelson. This is all happening this Tuesday. It's not really a big deal that we're getting split up because I'll still be going on exchanges with them every once in a while and I'll see them at district meeting and church every week. I'm just excited to have a normal companionship- it'll be nice to able to just have two of us teaching instead of all of us.
I'm glad to hear Brooke is doing good- that sounds like it was kind of scary.
I'm not going to lie I'm pretty jealous that you all got to have an Apostle at stake conference-of course he comes when I'm not there.
Great news that the Raven's won the superbowl which is what I said would happen because I'm serving a mission. That's pretty neat huh. This week we had a lot of appointments cancel on us which was kind of sad but we finished out very strong. So we had to redraw the boundaries so that maybe the Garner area could get something started and so my investigator pool got cut in half and they're taking all of the super solid investigators.... no worries though- we've been able to find a lot of new people to teach and so that should definitely continue to happen and so it should be back to normal here in like two weeks hopefully. we don't have any investigators who are really close to being baptized at this time but we should have two or three here in about 4 weeks. We had all 5 appointments cancel on us one day and we had a member with us who had just barely got back from a mission and so he came with us and visited some people that we hadn't been able to set a lesson up with yet and after we had visited like five houses where no one answered the door, we started talking to this guy on the street and it ended up being this members friend from when they were super young and so it was great that they got to see each other again. The next day we went to his house with the member and taught him a lesson and he's super interested in our message.
I know that miracles happen everyday I know that God requires us first to act and then great things happen. I love you all and hope you have a wonderful week.
Love, Elder Miller
