Hey family, sounds like Y'all
had a super crazy week this week. That's fun! This week has been good.
Still slower than I would like but things are definately improving.
Conference was fantastic- I really love Elder Bednar's talk and of course
Elder Holland's talk. some of the stuff that Elder Holland said was very
similar to what he said to us when he visited the mission. I enjoy hearing
the Prophet and Apostles. it's amazing to have them to lead and guide us in
these days. Their messages are always inspired and even though we were
sitting in the church for all five sessions the spirit honestly was
overwhelming. The blessings of the Holy Ghost have been a lot more
prominent in my life in the last few weeks. I could always feel it but
lately it's been almost carrying me through this work it seems like and
motivating me to do the right thing and the hard things. I haven't yet got
your package mom but it takes about a week for stuff to get here.
This week I've learned the power of prayer and just how much it helps us. I
started making a list of the things I need to pray for and then pray out
loud. It's helped me a lot to focus and remember everything because I
always forget something. But God answers all our prayer-s I can testify of
that. He helps us change through his son Jesus Christ. I've really
been able to notice a change in me lately and I'm extremely grateful for
that. Elder Bednar's talk went perfect with how I've felt lately.
Conversion is the time we give. I'm so grateful for the Gospel and it's
blessings in my life- for the opportunity that I have to have the Holy
Ghost with me always and to live a higher lifestyle dedicated to the Lord.
