Hey family, how's everything going this week? Sounds like it's going good and that Brooke's baby shower turned out very well. That's great to hear. Yes I got your packages mom. I haven't gotten a letter from grandma and grandpa in a while. Sorry I don't have a lot of time to write letters right now we're running all over the place trying to make things happen. But one of these preparation days we'll make some time and do it. So Catherine and Junior Luna were baptized Saturday and confirmed yesterday. it was an awesome experience, not a lot of members showed up to the baptismal service- however we did have our investigator family from Brazil there. Portugues and Spanish are very similar -they can speak English. They've been here for a year and a half but still they speak more Portugues. I actually understand a lot of it. We just got them a Book of Mormon in Portugues so hopefully things will really start to heat up for them. We've been super busy here- like usual we rode our bikes a lot this week even though it was a little cold. A lot of good things should be happening here soon. We've been finding a lot of people to teach every week but they are all progressing very slowly so that's something we're working on. But ya so I hope you're enjoying the Christmas season, I'm glad i can't listen to the radio so pretty much I don't hear the Christmas songs being over played... it's fantastic, don't get me wrong I enjoy Christmas and the music but not 24-7 like it's played every year before Thanksgiving. I've had the opportunity to be able to read a lot about the birth of the Savior which I enjoy a lot -I've been focusing on him during my studies. had a pretty funny experience yesterday, this guy was telling us that we can only have the Bible as the word of God and then we asked what If God speaks to his children once again? Won't that be scripture as well? And he said no.... some people believe in the Bible more than in God, weird huh. All in all this has been a pretty good week that ended with two baptisms.
