I can't believe it's been 8 months!

Hey family, How's everything going this week? Sounds like things are still as crazy as ever back at home. Sister Martindale was baptized this Saturday and confirmed on Sunday. It was an awesome experience. We had just barely reactivated her husband before we started teaching her and her husband was the one who baptized her. It was a great experience for all of us. Also we'll be having another baptism on the 28th and we're working on a few more people as well. It's been awesome here. The Pittsboro branch is growing a lot. Yhe stake redid the boundaries and added 45 active members to the branch so now we're officially over a hundred and we barely have room to fit everyone in the building... that's a great problem to have.
I got my new companion Rlder Lopez from Honduras. He's super funny- he's been out for a little over 19 months and is a great teacher. He's also making me run every morning which is great- it actually makes studying the scriptures in the morning a lot easier.
Sounds like girls camp was fun... I've never been able to understand why the call it camping... you don't camp. You should call it girls week. I cant believe it's been eight months either... it's going by way to fast. I feel like if I blink I'll be home. Could you by chance send me a good multivitamin the has a lot of B vitamins in it... and also talk to Brandon about some sort of protein that is super low in carbs that's pretty much pure protein- kinda like the beef isolate stuff that Sean had that I almost threw up while drinking, Something like that would be great. When will you be sending my memory card so I can send you mine with the baptism photos?   The cd's are great thanks for the package I loved it. I drink a gallon of water a day any more than that and it can be bad for you. And yes I check for ticks- I've had a few that members just tell me to pull them off it's easier that way. But yes President Bernhisel is an amazing man who is definately inspired by the Lord. I need to get going, we've got a lot to do today but I love you all and know that this is the true church of Christ.

hey fam, how's everything going this week? sounds like things are pretty busy... like usual. but idaho sounds pretty sweet i kinda miss it up there. but this week has been pretty crazy we've been going hard like usual and we found quite a few potencial investigators which was fantastic, and also sister martindale will be getting interviewed for baptism here this week i'm super excited for that and also her step daughter is going to be baptized here soon as well. also we have an investigator that we found last week who is progressing rapidly, he's already read through first and second nephi and he's still going strong and he love the book of mormon so he should be progressing here shortly. the area of pittsboro is definately growing and i'm loving it. we've taught quite a few people in spanish this week which was great my spanish is coming along nicely, Elder Warner and me speak it all the time which helps out a lot. he's being transfered this week so i'll be getting a new companion on tuesday. we met President Bernhisel on Wednesday he's an awesome man and i have no doubt that the success that the mission is having will continue. it's been over 100 degrees here everyday it's terrible to be out tracting in the heat but people feel bad for us so they let us in to talk with them which is good because most people have a lot of interest after we've shared the first lesson with them because it's something that makes a lot of sense. i've been drinking water a lot except the one day i didn't and i definately paid for it... i felt terrible that night but it's all good i'm doing great now. my ward mission leader is going out to utah this week he may say hi to you if you're around, brother blackwell he's the bomb i've learned so much from him. so what are you going to be filming in goshen? we've used those videos for some of our lessons and they've been perfect. the kids are going to have to stay small and stop growing so that when i get back i'll be able to reconize them. i finished the book of mormon again i think that's the fifth time here on the mission... it's so amazing i love that book it brings so much peace and light into my life and into the lives of those who read it. i have no doubt it's true and no doubt that this church is true it's an amazing blessing that we have to be a part of it and to have the book of mormon and Prophets to lead and guide us. well i hope you all are having a good week i love you all a bunch.

Hey fam, Sounds like you've all had a pretty fun week... my week has been pretty crazy and super hot! We were out knocking doors the other day and it was 104 degrees outside- I thought I was gonna die... it's not even funny. Work here in Pittsboro is still going great we're keeping busy which is always good. That's pretty crazy that Makenzie is getting married! You'll have to tell her congrats for me. Ya I've heard there's been alot of fires out west- has it been super hot out there or something? I hate the heat... it's the worst thing ever. I love North Carolina it's amazing super beautiful and I'd probably live out here if it wasn't so hot.
How's things going with Brandon and Melissa's house? Hopefully everything is working out.
Well this week was pretty much just knocked doors and tried to find more investigators so not a lot happened. Like always there was a few miracles that happened... it's crazy what happens when you follow the spirit. we were knockin doors and hadn't had much success in this area so as we were getting back in the car me and elder warner saw this guy and we both had the feeling that we should go talk to him. So we did. We had a lesson right there and at the end he told us that the message was exactly what he needed and he wants to change his life and be an example to his kids. Experiences like that are the ones that take away all doubt that this really is the Lords work. And we get those experiences everyday. We just got a new mission president this last week.. it was so hard to say goodbye to President Cottrell. I honestly didn't think it would be. But the work is still moving on here in North Carolina and I'm loving every second of it. It's been a huge blessing to be able to serve. I wanna tell you all thanks for the things you've done for me through the years because if you hadn't I wouldn't be at this point now- living the Gospel of Jesus Christ knowing without a doubt that it's true. I love you all.

Hey fam, how's everything been going? Sounds like pretty crazy with all the stuff going on right now. I'm glad everything is alright though.
This week has been an amazing one. Things were kinda slow to start out but then Thursday things started to get good. We have this investigator who just barely got married to a member and she likes our message but wouldn't commit to baptism. She had been taught for almost three months and she was reading but just didn't want to progress, Thursday she committed to a date to be baptized! It was amazing and also that same day we found another investigator who has so much interest she came to church and loved it! I'm super pumped right now.
We've been workin hard. We ride bikes alot just because we have a huge area and so we try to save our miles because the members live pretty far away when we go to visit them. so we need to use the miles for them. This week has really grown my testimony that the Lord answers our prayers. We've been asking the members to pray for Sister Martindale (our investigator) and the members have been so faithful and this week she decided to commit- it was amazing. She knows that this is the right thing but she was just scared to commit. No one likes to commit now a days it seems like.
Sounds like the little ones are still normal... full of energy and super funny. I'm sure they've all grown alot too. That really stinks to hear about Brandon and Melissa's place. I hope all of that gets figured out.   (Their town home had a leak in the bathtub and they are replacing walls, ceiling and floors-what a mess)
Me and Elder Warner are still doing good- he's a great missionary- super obedient but likes to have fun. We're were talking the other day about people we knew and he knows Tanner Lebaron really good- he played ball with him on the Pump and Run- ha that was pretty funny to find out. When we get transferred, the members give us a ride. I don't think there are busses here in Pittsboro that we could take... but I haven't received the package yet- usually it takes about a week for me to get it. But hopefully I'll get it soon. We talked at the city council meeting- it was way good. The Mayor was impressed and we're supposed to be setting up a lesson with him here soon. Well sorry I don't got lot's to say but I'm glad everything is going well and that Dad you'll be able to take a little break here in a bit. I love you all and hope you have a great week.
