Hey fam, how's things going back
at home? Well this week has been a kinda weird one. We had a couple of days
where I felt like we were running all over the place and then a couple of
days where it seemed like all we did was just knock doors. It's so nice to
finally have the weather cooling down. I actually enjoy being outside.
We've been working a lot with the ward members and ward council here trying
to get things going. There's so many great members here but a lot don't
look at missionary work as something that they should do. I'm just super
excited because the last two weeks or so we've really been making some
progress with the ward council. During district meeting two weeks ago a
missionary asked me what I wanted to accomplish while I'm here in Clinton.
The first thing that came to my mind was baptize the world- but as I
thought about it a little more I realized what I truly wanted was to
strengthen the members here in this area so that missionary work in the
future can really take off. It's amazing how having a vision of what we
want to happen helps us make things happen. Things look like they're going
to start heating up here soon. One of our investigators, Kathrine is so
close to being baptized... she told us the other day that the Book of
Mormon is true and that we have a living day prophet on the earth... she's
so close and I can't wait to see her get baptized. Elder Gonzalez is going
to be staying here in Clinton for another six weeks -he's a super funny
elder and we're loving it here working together.
So life is good. Some cookies sound fantastic I'd love to get some
mail, I don't think I've received a letter in over a month.... so that
package would be fantastic. anyways, I'm just happy to be here and see the
work start to pick up. I love you all and hope everything is going well.
Love Elder Miller
