Hey family, things were pretty
great this week. At Thanksgiving we got some good southern food... when the
person cooking it tells you to "go mash the button down yonder"
(meaning go turn the light on over there) you know it's gonna be some good
food. Here in my area there's a lot of hog farms so we have some sort of
meat from the swine with every meal. We also had our traditional turkey and
pies. The best part was the biscuits, they were amazing! I'm definately a
huge fan of them.
Well it sounds like everything has been going great for y'all. I'm glad it
is. Wait- dad you said something about ammo for a 9mm in your email and I
trying to remember if you bought one or not... please clarify this next
week. And if you did buy one it was very nice of you to think about me, and
buy me a present. I'm sure I'll enjoy it when i get home. So this week the
plumbing wasn't working at the church so we had to wait another week for
the baptism, which is ok because it means that we can now make sure my good
buddy Junior reads more so he can be baptized with his sister. The
work here is definately heating up here we've found A LOT of new people to
teach. The Hispanics are so much nicer for the most part- however we've
been finding caucasians ( if that's not how you spell it sound it out) as
well which has been great. Elder Sanchez is an amazing companion. He hasn't
been out for very long but he sure knows how to follow the spirit and also
he just knows how to do missionary work. He's fantastic.
Just send the Christmas stuff when you can no worries mom. The transfers
are the 18th of December and so it would need to be sent before then. I
don't know what I want for Christmas in all honesty-maybe a Jesus the
Christ in Spanish if you could find one. and also I'm good with clothes
everything is holding up as of right now. Well we've got a lot of
work to do our preparation day is shorter because one of our investigators
could only meet with us today a little earlier so I have to go. I love you
all. and thanks for the letters and packages that you've sent.
Love, Elder Miller
